Created in 2013, this fin can boast of having traveled and defied traditions: first exhibited at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco at Beli’s personal exhibition in 2013, during the year of the sharks, it was again at the honor for the Museum’s annual exhibition "On sharks & Humanity" in 2014, then at the Ekatarina Foundation in Moscow, and finally at the National Museum of China in Beijing} }. The country famous for its very controversial shark fin soups!
Fortunately, Asian countries are also starting to want to protect sharks.
This bronze fin n°2/8 (green-blue patina) is part of the collection of the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco.
The white bronze version n°3/8 is very recent and particularly impressive.
The very first example, in brown patina bronze, in the photo below was exhibited at the Yacht Club de Monaco (photo@A.Colman).
He unfortunately subsequently "disappeared" during the fire which ravaged the Coco Beach restaurant in Nice in July 2017.
