Horses

As someone who loves horses so much—and after creating so many "hippocampes" (seahorses) in both painting and sculpture—I was pleasantly surprised and delighted to receive a commission for a horse’s head: the actual mammal this time, not a "sea horse"!

So, I ended up making two of them, using different styles and distinct patinas for each.

One is highly stylized and refined. The other is a bit more "wild," with a tousled mane.

Both are small pieces designed to sit on a shelf or desk, though I can, of course, create them in a larger size upon request.
